2011 Winter Competition

The League is based on a Ladder. ( see attached file)

I have produced the initial ladder; I am sure that others will disagree with the ranking but hopefully no-one is offended!

Over the coming weeks, players will play those above and below them in the Ladder.

We have scheduled games for 6.30pm. Scheduled league games have priority on court.

Look at the time table of scheduled games. Every player has been given a reference e.g. Eve Campbell is D3, and plays D4 on Tuesday.

It is advisable to ring your opponent and confirm or rearrange. Players are free to rearrange games with their opponent at a more convenient time. However please keep in mind other scheduled games when rearranging. Your rescheduled game has no priority on court.

Games should be played in the designated week. Please email me the result and I will update the Ladder. Both players should email. Please do so ASAP so that I don’t have to chase results.

Successful players will climb the ladder. They will be given further opportunity to keep climbing; we will schedule games to allow this.

I have only scheduled the first 3 weeks at this stage. Further weeks will be scheduled in due course. Members who want to join the League can contact me and I will try to accommodate them.

Players who are on holiday, away for work, injured, etc should inform me and I will not schedule a game for them.
